Cherilyn Sarkisian or better known as Cher, already made a name as a music icon. She has been in the business since the 1960s, with a career spanning almost six decades. Also known as the Goddess of Pop, she proved that women could champion an industry mostly dominated by men. The actress gained widespread popularity starring as the wife of the folk-rock duo, Sonny and Cher, to which their song peaked number both in the US and UK markets back in 1965. It began when she came back into the business in 1979 with the disco album, Take Me Home. She even earned $300,000 a week for a two-year concert residency in Las Vegas.
