In the peak of Britt Ekland¡¯s career in the 1960s to 1970s, she managed to appear in several films and television shows. She is known for her roles in William Friedkin¡¯s The Night They Raided Minsky¡¯s and the British crime film Get Carter in 1971. However, it was because of her role as Bond girl in the 1974 film Man with the Golden Gun. She also starred in various films such as the British cult horror movie The Wickerman in 1973.

Her high-profile social life and her marriage with actor Peter Sellers in 1964 gained a lot of attention from the public, and considerable attention from the press, leading to her being one of the most photographed celebrities on the planet in the 1970s.
