Winkler first rose to fame in the sitcom Happy Days from 1974 to 1984, where he played Arthur ¡°Fonzie¡± Fonzarelli, a greaser who became the breakout character. He got three Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and won two Golden Globe Awards.

He has received various credit of his work to his name, along with several accolades and nominations. His stint in the HBO series Barry, as Coach Gene Cousineau, even earned him a Primetime Emmy Award.
