John Amos has left a mark on his TV viewers when he was cast as James Evans in Good Times. However, because of differences between the writers and producers, Amos thought it best to leave. After his stint in the highly successful show, Amos went on to star in other programs like Roots, The West Wing, The District, and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Aside from that, he also ventured into doing Broadway and appearing in films like Die Hard 2 and Coming to America. He has several acting credits to his name and he is still very much active in the entertainment industry even today.

Amos has recently appeared in Uncut Gems by Adam Sandler where he was simply asked to do a cameo. The actor did not mind the part since he said that he got paid for it and well. When asked about not being in the next installment of Coming 2 America the actor did not mind at all. He is still excited about the fact that if there will be a third installment, he was ready to join the team once again. With decades of experience in his belt, Amos is one of Hollywood’s best actors that, to his credit, has inspired many people of color to follow their acting dreams.
