BARBI BENTON | 71
Barbi Benton dominated the entertainment world in the ‘70s. She was a big name back then, being a model, actress, songwriter, singer, and TV personality. The now-71-year-old star got credits for being on the cover of a man’s magazine, a regular cast member of Hee Haw, and a recording artist. At the time, she made a number of successful albums.
After she left Hee Haw, Benton focused on her Hollywood career. She was seen on the ABC-TV comedy series Sugar Time and in the slasher film Hospital Massacre. Her breakthrough album, Brass Buckles, became a top-five hit on Billboard’s country singles chart. In total, she has recorded eight albums. Despite her success, Benton decided to retire from the business and put her focus on her family in the ‘80s. She has been married to George Gradow since 1979 and shares two kids.
