The award-winning actress and Hollywood A-lister Mary Steenburgen have been around the industry since the 70s. Over the course of her acting career, she consistently provided her audience with exceptional acting skills that catapulted her towards the top of the Hollywood rankings. She appeared in various films in the past couple of decades including the 1980 movie Melvin and Howard. Steenburgen also starred in Tender Is the Night, The Attic: The Hiding of Anne Frank, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, and the last installment of the Back to the Future franchise.

Because of her contributions and influence in the film industry, she got a couple of Honorary degrees coming from various educational institutions and Universities. Steenburgen’s big break arrived when she was spotted by Jack Nicholson while in Paramount’s New York office reception area. She was then cast as one of the leads in his movie Western Goin’ South. The actress received the Saturn Award for Best Actress for the movie Time After Time. The accolades do not stop there, though! This showstopper also earned the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Lynda Dumar in the film Melvin and Howard.
