While her childhood may have had her moving from one home to another, one thing stuck with Jeri Ryan is her love for performing, especially acting. With that in mind, it’s no surprise that she immediately pursued an acting career after finishing her studies and graduating with a bachelor’s degree in theater.

Her acting debut came when she appeared in Who’s the Boss?, followed by guest-starring gigs for shows like The Sentinel and Melrose Place. However, thanks to her work on Dark Skies, Ryan slowly became a well-known figure in the sci-fi community, despite the show’s brief tenure on-air. Because of that, she eventually garnered even more recognition when she landed the role of the Borg drone, Seven of Nine, in Star Trek: Voyager. Having reprised the part in the more recent series, Star Trek: Picard, other projects the actress has worked on through the years include Shark, Boston Public, Bosch, and Body of Proof.
